Sonja is the sole heir of Emperor Kanbei of Yellow Comet, one of the four world powers of Wars World, with significant holdings on three disparate continents.

She is currently studying for a Masters of Military History at Yellow Comet University in Macro land, but she's already an alumni of Orange Star's Redstone Military Academy, which was possible under a special joint training agreement between the two nations. Sonja has been a military commander since the age of 14, serving alongside her father to command the nation's forces against foreign invasion, as well as cooperating with the Allied Nations against the continuing mounting threads of Black Hole.

Sonja is an intensely analytical and intellectual commander, emphasizing intelligence, reconnaissance and tactical advantage. She likes to bait opponents into overreaching and underestimating and punishing them for it.

Her obsession with data collection and crunching numbers sometimes leads her to forget about the human component, in war and in relationships. She's gotten a little better at this, but the introversion is strong with this one.
